Our Vision
That the Deaf Community is active and thriving wthin the wider hearing environment in Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull
Our focus
Grant Giving:
Grants are available for a services and support such as developments in new services to support the deaf community, events which support the deaf community, individuals who are in financial hardship and require addition support, and support individuals who are trying to access higher education.
Advocacy
CWAD aims enhance the deaf community and people’s quality of life by developing and enhancing social participation and inclusion within the local society. CWAD lead and advocate changes in inclusion practices for the deaf community and work with deaf groups within Warwickshire to achieve this.
Henry Fry Centre
A community centre predominantly for the deaf people of Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull. CWAD run its own activities in the centre and rents out space. The Centre proudly supports the Coventry Deaf Spots and Social Club who we welcome to use the centre as it’s home on a regular basis.
